it is completely on its own, surrounded by fields and wildlife, with views over the River Tamar.
The B & B is close to the
village centre where all the amenities (including Calstock Village Hall, the local shop and Post Office, an art gallery,
natural therapy centre and a pub/restaurant) are just a three minute level walk along the lane. Cotehele House,
the hidden gem of the National Trust, is only a 40 minute walk downstream or a boat will take you there in the season
when the tide is high..................
The award winning market town of Tavistock and the beautiful Dartmoor National Park
are 6 miles away.
Morwellham Quay, with its Mining Heritage Trails, is close by and can be visited
by rail and bus link in the Summer season.
Willow Cottage is also a convenient
place to stop off before taking a Brittany Ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff or Santander.
